Welcome to the new home of "My Five Year Plan."
I've been planning on moving my blog for a while, but given the piling family/employment crises of the last few months, I just haven't really been in much of a mood to update or work on my blog at all. Which is a shame, because my blog is a major project that helps focus and anchor my day-to-day life. I plan to update it a lot more often in the coming months, which is the common refrain on this blog, but maybe a change of venue (if not a change of decor - I rather like my Muybridge horses and my Helvetica) will help me pick up the mantle again.
Moving "My Five Year Plan" to brendonbouzard.com is Step One of turning that domain into a clearinghouse for narcissistic self-promotion. In the coming months, I'm going to be designing and implementing a site that will include writings, video clips, and other information in service of my five-year plan to produce a feature-length film (which, despite the personal setbacks I've been dealing with lately, is still entirely, 100% on the table).
In the next few days, you'll see posts on films I've watched recently, reactions to current events, and thoughts and updates on my projects in progress. I will also be making a regular daily post, rain or shine, consisting of a Youtube clip with some level of analysis/commentary. I hope these posts will help me to earn back the audience I appreciate that I've lost with my lack of updating over the course of the last six months.
